The year 2020 best illustrated impermanence ! The worst global pandemic in the century leading to lost lives; families being kept apart; lost jobs; dwindled earnings. The Human race experienced tremendous sufferings. Those of us still of good health should treasure this precious moment to make the right aspirations and practice dharma diligently.
Mahakala is the most important dharma protector for #Kagyupa and all Thrangu monasteries around the world perform daily Mahakala practice. It is therefore especially important that all followers of Kagyupa to join the important Mahakala puja in the year end for the benefit of the dharma activities of Karmapa, as well as for our own well-being.
The 2nd Karmapa, Karma Pakshi said, “ if my future followers can practice diligently and observe the samaya vows, Mahakala will protect them inseparably like the shadow follows the body.”
During Mahakala puja, Hong Kong #Thrangu Center lamas will perform torma offering, praying for removal of all obstacles for everyone; for the pandemic to subside; health for all in both body and mind; hostility and adversity be subjugated; harmony in families; all our hearts’ desire to be fulfilled. The transformation will be more powerful if you can all join in with your own aspiration and rejoice in your merits.
